2026 Fall Football - Fall 2026

High School:  Ages 14 - 18 and Grades 9th - 12th
Junior High:   Ages 12 - 13 and Grades 7th - 8th

Players who are 14 as of May 31st must play High School football. Players who turn 14 between June 1st and September 1st have the option to play Junior High or High School. Players are allowed a max 4 consecutive years of eligibility at the High School level.

High School players will be designated as JV or Varsity. This designation can change throughout the duration of the season based on the needs of the team and/or performance of the player.

JV & JH teams can have games Thurs -Sat. Varsity can have games Fri or Sat.

Once every two years players must upload to their Team Sideline account their medical clearance form (download here) before they will be allowed to play in a game or scrimmage.

Jr High ONLY: Players will need to provide their own black football pants.

Volleyball 2026 - Fall 2026

High School: 9th-12th grade (age 14 - 17 as of May 31, 2025) 
Junior High: 5th-8th grade (age 10 - 13 as of May 31, 2025)

According to TAIAO eligibility rules, a player must be 10 yrs by September 1st to play for Junior High. A player who is 14 by May 31st must play for a High School team. Players who turn 14 between June 1st and September 1st have the option to play Junior High if they are entering 8th grade, but will need to discuss the play-down exception with the coach. Please email info@bvchea.org if you are requesting a play-down exception.

Players are allowed 4 consecutive years of eligibility at the High School level. For questions about age and eligibility, email info@bvchea.org.

Players must submit documentation of medical clearance once every two years. You can download the UIL version of the form here. Documentation of medical clearance must be uploaded (as a scanned PDF or photo) by August 1, 2026.
