The Brazos Valley Mustangs are proud members of the Texas Association of Independent Athletic Organizations (TAIAO). We offer a competitive 6-Man Football program focusing on helping athletes grow in all areas of the game of football, while encouraging Christian values and character development. We look forward to another great season and we hope you will join us!
The Brazos Valley Mustangs offer two 6-Man Football teams:
- Varsity: Ages 14 - 17 (as of May 31, 2023)
- Junior High: Ages 11 - 13 (as of May 31, 2023)
A player who is 14 as of May 31st must play for a High School team according to current TAIAO rules. Players who turn 14 between June 1st and September 1st have the option to play Junior High, but will need to discuss the play-down exception with the coach. Please email info@bvchea.org if you are requesting a play-down exception.
Players are allowed 4 consecutive years of eligibility at the High School level. For questions about age and eligibility, visit the TAIAO website or email us.
All necessary equipment will be provided by BVCHEA except for: Varsity Girdle for game pants, mouthpieces, practice pants, socks, cleats, undershirts, and compression shorts.
