The Brazos Valley Mustang Cheer Squad is a Christian based cheer program for Junior High and High School aged girls (6th-12th grade). Our goal is to promote unity, camaraderie, and overall team spirit.
The mission of the cheer squad is to encourage, uplift, and edify the Brazos Valley Mustang football team. We are committed to the pursuit of Christ-centered excellence in athletics, as well as ministering with the love of Christ. Our key focal points are based on two scriptures: Ephesians 4:29 and I Thessalonians 5:11.
Each season the Mustang Mascot is a fun addition to our games. Requirements include an outgoing personality to encourage humor and entertainment at games and pep rallies. Mascots need to be of high school age to fit in the costume and withstand the heat elements. The mascot position for the 2024 season has been filled.
